NY Rising Rebels Basketball Program sets out to benefit young student athletes through the sport of basketball. We would appreciate your help for this year’s season. As our AAU season begins in the Fall of 2020, our fundraising efforts begin now.

Our goal is to raise money so that travel accommodations, tournament fees, practice time as well as equipment and uniform expenses can be subsidized by various donations. This will enable our team to participate, compete and gain prominent exposure in the Amateur Athletic Union and heighten our player’s chances to gain notoriety in the colleges of their choice!

NY Rising Rebels Basketball Program focuses on Education, Service, and Basketball. Our ultimate goal is to use basketball as a gateway to influence our athletes to be proactive in their communities, whether it is in their school or neighborhood. We strongly believe that basketball is a sport where athletes can develop as mature and responsible human beings. Our program requires each student athlete to have a GPA of a B or higher in order to participate on our team. Our program takes pride in discipline and becoming a person for others. We require our athletes to participate in some service programs or events that we would take part in or run ourselves. Some of these services are: Food drives, Clothing drives, Toy drives, volunteer at Soup Kitchens, Clean up parks in our community, etc. Being a part of all three elements of the organization provides the social and academic skills along with the work ethic required to succeed in life and add value along the way.

Furthermore, we are committed to see that our children are trained by dedicated coaches that foster an environment that emphasizes athletic excellence, physical and mental discipline, self-esteem, leadership and sportsmanship. This commitment is essential in order for each player to reach their full potential. In addition to providing the highest quality of coaching and fundamental skill development, our ambition is aimed toward keeping the youth of today in the classroom and steered away from negative influences. We value the importance of education on and off of the court, service and appreciation for the community, and our team philosophy will embody these elements of emphasis.

To conclude, The NY Rising Rebels Basketball Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and it relies on monetary donations as well as dedicated volunteers. With that said, there are many costs associated with keeping our new program afloat and to afford our teams/players the opportunities to brand themselves. We hope to raise enough funds to give each player the opportunity to succeed in showing off their skill and knowledge to Collegiate Programs. ALL donations received will go towards the expense of our Student Athletes; which includes: tournament fees, showcase fees, practice gym rentals, transportation, hotel fees, recruitment apps, etc. We are especially passionate about raising money so that players whose family is not in a financial position to send their young student athletes on these trips, can then do so. Any type of contribution to our program you may make will be greatly appreciated!
